Workshop Focus: Rheumatology

The Association of Podiatric Medicine (Singapore) conducted its first workshop of the year on 10 Jan 2023 with Dr. Eugene Lim as the speaker. Dr. Lim is a rheumatologist, with accreditations as a EULAR musculoskeletal ultrasound trainer as well as a WIP certified interventional pain sonologist. He was invited to share about rheumatology in the foot and ankle.
The workshop covered the method for assessing a patient’s foot and ankle pain to identify systemic inflammatory conditions, with an emphasis on history taking, physical examination, and the usefulness of point-of-care ultrasound in aiding diagnosis and even intervention.
