The association’s goals are to develop and enhance the interest of podiatric medicine in Singapore, to encourage retention of podiatric professionals by promoting the professional standing of the field, and elevate our quality in public and private health through professional seminars and training.
To develop and clarify society’s understanding of podiatry’s role in the healthcare system and ensure that podiatry is regarded as an essential medicine in the prevention of lower limb or associated life loss. The profession must become established in order to deter encroachment of its specialist scope by unlicensed enterprises and individuals.
To create opportunities for students to pursue a local education in podiatric medicine and provide them with guidance in their career as private or public healthcare professionals.
